Bara Cailín 5: 37 ‘a life of terminal servitude?’

You are probably asking why it is that the Defence Forces are so happy to go along with enforcing Terminal Transit without even a hint of rebellion or refusal but the simple truth is that in a world that no longer conforms to any conventional sense or reason or meaning there are only two real roles left, slave or enforcer. Faced with such a situation it is easy to see (but not necessarily forgive) why people would choose not to relinquish their enforcing. Any slave you asked would gladly do anything they possibly could to reverse their role, especially if it meant slightly more comfort for them and any family they might still have left.

Would anyone willingly volunteer for a life of terminal servitude?
